The Chair of International Accounting & Reporting successfully participated in the 47th European Accounting Association (EAA) Annual Congress, held from 28th to 30th May 2025 at Luiss Guido Carli University, Business School, in Rome. The event brought together around 1,600 delegates, featuring the presentation of 1,015 research papers across 359 sessions.
Dr. Angelos Angelakis presented a research study titled “AI in Accounting: A Transformative Integration in the Russian Context.” His presentation was well received and prompted insightful discussions, with constructive feedback from fellow participants. In addition to presenting his work, Dr. Angelakis actively engaged in the academic exchange by providing feedback to other researchers.
Moreover, Dr. Dr. Petra Inwinkl chaired a parallel session within the Accounting and Governance track. The session attracted a large audience; Dr. Inwinkl played a key role in facilitating the discussions and offering valuable feedback on the research presented, further demonstrating the Chair's ongoing commitment to scholarly collaboration and contribution.
